Gee was started after watching brilliant cafés, salons, and clinics get torpedoed by a single 1-star review while their happiest customers said nothing. We thought there was a kinder way.

The story

Gee began as a side project: an NFC sticker for a friend's coffee shop in Sunnybank that turned into fifteen new Google reviews in a fortnight. The friend stopped losing sleep over the one-star reviews he'd never replied to. He started getting customer complaints he could actually fix.

Word travelled. Today, Gee runs across cafés, hair salons, dental clinics, car-wash bays and small retail across Brisbane — soon the rest of Australia. We're a small team obsessed with one thing: the fewest possible taps between a customer and a kind word.

We're not building another review-collection app. We're building the gentlest possible nudge — a piece of acrylic on a counter that, every now and then, saves a small business from a public mess.
